Book Club

Good Reading to one and all!

Come and share the enjoyment a good book can bring. We meet monthly, apart from August and December, the venue moving each month and hosted by different members of the group.

Our usual meeting night is the last Wednesday of the month at 8.00 pm till about 10.00 (although the end time depends on the book and the other topics that get discussed). Sometimes we use questions from online sites designed to promote discussion but often the differing views of the members provide enough stimulation for discussion!

We choose the books between us; different members suggesting books they have read, perhaps one that has been reviewed or just a title that looks interesting or that has been recommended. The majority of our books are modern fiction but we have read some classic titles as well. At present our members live in Caunton, Cromwell,  Little Carlton, Norwell and Southwell.

Not everyone can make every meeting but as long as there are enough for a discussion it goes ahead.
