Dogs for Hearing Impaired

Help Norwell Beaver Scouts raise money.

Norwell Beaver Scouts are collecting used stamps, raising money for dogs for the Hearing Impaired. Stamps can be left at the Scout Hall (old school) in Norwell or passed onto any Beaver, Cub or Scout.

We have members at Norwell, Caunton, North Muskham, Kneesall, Sutton, Normanton, as well Tuxford Academy. A big thank you to all.

Weekly Fresh Fish Van Every Wednesday

From December A fresh fish van from Grimsby has been visiting the village with a selection of fresh fish and sea food. The van is run by a very polite chap called Dean who stops outside the village shop every Wednesday at around 11 am. He supplies an good selection of traditional fish, such as haddock and cod, as well as more up market (and frankly delicious) varieties including sea bass. He also supplies a good selection of shell fish and seafood including cockles, mussels, shrimps and eel. If you would like something he doesn't stock then he is also happy to take requests either by phone or just let him know to bring it the following week.
