Welcome to Norwell Online - website for the Parish of Norwell in Nottinghamshire, UK

Norwell Online is a community website serving the Parish of Norwell and Norwell Woodhouse in Nottinghamshire England. As well as providing useful local info we have compiled what we hope to be a comprehensive list of all the groups and institutions active within the parish. Each group has been given their own subsection which they are free to edit and expand as they choose. The aim is to create an umbrella site to help each group promote their activities without the need for a site of their own.

By visiting any of the group subsections you should be able to find information on the group's activities, meetings, members and how to get involved. If you have something to add to the site, or just a general query about the Parish, then please get in touch with peter@norwell-online.org.uk

New Stay & Play at Norwell Pre-school - Wednesday Mornings

Weekly Fresh Fish Van Every Wednesday

From December A fresh fish van from Grimsby has been visiting the village with a selection of fresh fish and sea food. The van is run by a very polite chap called Dean who stops outside the village shop every Wednesday at around 11 am. He supplies an good selection of traditional fish, such as haddock and cod, as well as more up market (and frankly delicious) varieties including sea bass. He also supplies a good selection of shell fish and seafood including cockles, mussels, shrimps and eel. If you would like something he doesn't stock then he is also happy to take requests either by phone or just let him know to bring it the following week.
